We want to invite kids into a new understanding of how to grow in relationship with Jesus. Additionally, we want to come alongside parents and offer opportunities to disciple the children entrusted to us. We focus on three basic but powerful truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2: I should treat others the way I want to be treated, I can trust God no matter what, and I need to make a wise choice.
Every weekend, kids in kindergarten to 5th grade come to a KidLife Elementary service where they engage in dynamic worship and Bible story video lessons during large group time. We use Orange Curriculum, which reveals a godly character trait each month. Directly after large group, the kids transition to classrooms for grade-specific small groups with fun, age-appropriate Bible study, and activities
We believe the best way we can help your kids develop a strong spiritual foundation is by partnering with you. Together, we can help encourage, train, and pray for them as they grow in their faith.
Here are some practical ways you can help us make the most of your child’s time spent at church:
NextGen is a night designed to bring discipleship to KidLife Elementary students in a creative and artistic way. The heart of NextGen is to create a safe and fun environment where kids can learn who God is and what it means to follow him in a real and authentic way. During the 2022-2023 school year, we’ll be focusing on the theme, Never Give Up. Each student will be able to participate in an art class of their choice: Visual Arts, Dance, Instrumental/Percussion, or Choir. These will be their small groups for the year. In these art groups, they’ll be building Godly relationships as they build Godly discipline.
NextGen meets from 6:00–7:30p on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at our Kempsville Campus.
