If you have a desire to deepen your walk with Jesus and your understanding of His call upon your life to the Great Commission, then this course is for you! Through lectures, discussions, multimedia presentations, course reading and assignments, students’ hearts and eyes will be opened and sensitized in new ways to God’s incredible redemptive plan among the nations and the strategic, “kairos” day in which we live. We will explore the biblical basis of missions from Genesis to Revelation, the historical significance of what God has been doing over the last 2000 years, the cultural keys to unlocking the truths of the Gospel among “unreached peoples,” and the strategic implications for the Church today. When? Wednesdays, March 19-May 14, 6:30-9:00 pm; Saturday Intensives, March 29 & April 26, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Where: Kempsville Campus, 1244 Thompkins Ln, Virginia Beach
Time Commitment: 2.5 hours class time/week, plus two Saturday Intensives; 2-3 hours of homework, including reading, videos, etc.
Cost: $75/individual; $110/married couple (couples share course textbooks) (registration covers all course materials, weekly hot drinks, and lunches during our two Saturday intensives)
