Encore is the senior ministry of New Life Church. We organize our ministry around these specific functions: prayer, worship, discipleship, ministry, missions/evangelism, and fellowship.
Living Fully
We are intentional about connecting across generations. At our church, seniors play an active role in every area of ministry—from worship teams and hospitality to teaching in Kidlife and serving on local and global mission trips. We’re proud to be a community of doers and goers!
Our senior ministry, Encore, also offers a variety of opportunities for fun and fellowship, including picnics, movie outings, concerts, educational classes, and city tours. One of our highlights is our popular 3-day, 2-night road trips. Past adventures have included:
• The Amish Experience in Lancaster, PA for a Sight & Sound Theatre production
• Concerts at The Cove at the Billy Graham Training Center
• Christmas candlelighting at the Biltmore Estate
• Scenic mountain train rides through West Virginia
• Visits to the National Museum of African American History and Culture
• Exploring the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C.
Our goal is to empower seniors to stay active, connected, and purpose-driven—continuing to serve the God they love with joy and passion.
