Youth
At New Life, our Youth Ministry is committed to discipleship. Our heart is to inspire, support, and compel students to build a lifestyle of following Jesus. We create spaces for students to grow in their faith, connect in community, and live on mission—whether they’re just exploring Christianity or have been following Jesus for years.

YOUth MATTER
ALL OF THE CHANGES BELOW START JUNE 2025:
New Life Youth has multiple expressions across all four of our campuses. Some events are churchwide gatherings, others are campus-specific, and some are tailored by age group—either middle school or high school. Below is a breakdown of how and where students can get involved.

1st & 3rd Weeks
Union (1st Wednesdays)
A fun, high-energy night designed for all teenagers—whether they’re new to church or have grown up in it. This night is a perfect invite opportunity and great for building community across campuses. Located at Kempsville.
Encounter (3rd Wednesdays)
A worship service created for students to pursue and encounter the presence of God. These nights are more intimate and spiritually focused. Located at Kempsville.

2nd & 4th Weeks
Each campus hosts its own unique expression of youth ministry on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month. These nights are designed to help students grow deeper in discipleship and community.

Large Youth Gatherings
At least six times a year, we host churchwide events that include retreats, camps, and mission trips. These are incredible moments where students build lasting friendships and encounter God in powerful ways.
