Each January, we pause our church activities to re-engage the heart of our church, which is a house of prayer. This month’s goals are to recapture the call and power of prayer, to see each individual of our church re-ignite their personal prayer life, and finally, to see a fresh wind blow in our corporate prayer meetings. 

 

This year, in 2025, we hope to accomplish these goals in this way:

On January 18, there will be a 12-hour prayer burn that will focus on our global workers | from 6:00a–6:00p at the Kempsville Campus 

 

 

February 1, 2025

9:00a–2:00p 

 

A 6-hour day spent praying and fasting as a church for global missions. 

Randall Martinez from MAPS will join us on this day. 

 

Each day on our social media feed, we will highlight a different global worker with specific needs to pray for in our homes, cars, offices, groups, families, or individuals. These prayer requests can also be found by following the prayer calendar and individual QR codes in each global worker’s profile in the Prayer & Giving Guide. These are handed out in services and available on each campus’s mission racks.
